A couple of months ago Neil Young released the first volume of the long-awaited Archives box set series and now Reprise is reissuing Young’s first four albums on 140gram vinyl.

Nirvana is the next band to get the deluxe vinyl reissue treatment. The Original Recordings Group (ORG) will release “Nevermind”, “In Utero” and “MTV Unplugged” on 180gram audiophile high quality vinyl. According to Billboard, all three will be remastered and are set for release in 2009.

Twelve Radiohead singles are set to be reissued on limited-edition vinyl. Capitol Records reissued several of Radiohead’s albums on vinyl last year, and now they intend to continue with the release of singles like “Drill”, “Paranoid Android” and “Pyramid Song” on limited 180gram vinyl.
