Vinyl Is Forever – 3rd Edition
The third installment of Soundscreen Design’s Vinyl is Forever series features the design of New York based designer, writer, and teacher Rob Giampietro. The edition features organic and recycled garments from Alternative Apparel including crew neck t’s, 3/4 sleeve henleys, crew neck sweatshirts and oversized grocery tote bags. As always, the print run is limited, with the design never to be repressed once sold out.

“Like a lot of designers, I grew up obsessed with vinyl: first the music, then broad graphic expanse of the record sleeve. In my case, it was jazz albums, whose covers typically used witty concepts, bold graphic palettes, and knocked-out type. The symbol for paper that lasts forever is an infinity sign ringed by a circle. My design takes that symbol for a spin, suggesting a record that plays on an infinite loop.”
