Sign up to sell
Sign Up
It's free and easy. If you are not yet a registered NYLVI user, you will first have to set up an account by choosing a username and password, and confirming an email address. Once you have a NYLVI account you can register as a seller by providing some basic contact details.
Set Up Your Shop
Every seller on NYLVI gets his or her own shop, located at http://www.nylvi.com/username. You can customize your shop by adding a banner, bio, and feature specific records.
Adding records
Adding your stock is easy. You can add and edit record information individually, or use a special upload tool to import multiple records to our database via an inventory text file. Either way it's instantly available in our system.
Selling a Record
When a NYLVI user buys one of your records, we'll notify you by email and you'll be able to manage and track the order through your NYLVI account. Possible payment methods are money order, bank transfer and PayPal. We recommend PayPal, as it facilitates instant payment and offers anti-fraud protection.
Commission
Becoming a seller and setting up a shop on NYLVI is free. There's an 8% commission on sales. Please note:
we're not charging commission during October and November 2008.
Policies
As a seller on NYLVI, you need to inform the users about your shop policies. Your shop policies must be in accordance with NYLVI's site-wide policies.
