How do I buy records on NYLVI?
You can browse and use our site without having an account. However, to buy records you'll need to register for an NYLVI account. On NYLVI you purchase records directly from the seller, using the payment methods the seller accepts. You do not pay NYLVI, you pay the sellers directly and individually.Before buying, take some time to view the sellers' rating and feedback on their Shop pages. Here you'll also find information about their policies, shipping options and payment methods. If you have questions about any of these, please contact the seller directly before making a purchase.
Why do I need to register?
We need to be able identify the parties involved in a transaction for our feedback system. Your unique username makes this possible. Registration is free and easy.How does the shopping bag function?
The shopping bag will contain all the records you want to buy. To add a record to your shopping bag, click on the Add to Bag button on the right side of the record listing page. If you change your mind, click the Remove link for that record in your cart. Once you've got everything you want, click the Checkout button and follow the on-screen instructions.How do I pay for the order?
On the final page of the checkout you choose a payment method from the options the seller accepts. Please note that if you purchase items from multiple shops, each seller must be paid individually. After submitting the order, you will receive information from the seller, via Your NYLVI > Purchases, on the status of your order and how to proceed with payment. If the choosen payment method is PayPal or credit card via Paypal, there will be a button that says Pay Now with PayPal. Click here to be transferred to a secure PayPal page where you can pay the seller.If you are paying by check, money order, bank transfer or wire transfer, the seller will send you information via the NYLVI message system about how to make the transaction.
How does PayPal work?
PayPal™ is an online payment processing company widely used on the Internet to facilitate sales transactions, including credit card payments. They will "run" your card for the seller. Do I need to create a PayPal account before I checkout?
No. Just click on the PayPal option at the NYLVI checkout and follow the instructions.Do I need a PayPal account to submit a payment by credit card?
No. Buyers can submit payment by credit card through PayPal without having a PayPal account. However, if you'd like an account, follow PayPal's instructions for set up. You'll just need an email address and a password. Creating an account will entitle you to PayPal protection services and other perks.There's a problem with my order. What do I do?
If you think there's a problem or issue concerning your order, please contact the seller directly via NYLVI's message system to resolve the matter. As a venue, NYLVI only connects buyer and seller. NYLVI is not involved as part of any transaction. NYLVI can therefore not assume any liability for any transaction or mediate in any dispute. Please take a look at the seller's rating, feedback and policies before buying.If you paid via PayPal, you may contact their customer support to inquire about a claim for refund. Please use the feedback system to review the seller's product and service.
